Management Accountant, Sheffield

THE COMPANY: My client is a charity based in Sheffield with contract throughout the North and they are looking for a Management Accountant support the Head of Finance. The role can offer part time hours and flexibility to the right candidate. THE JOB: The Management Accountant will play a pivotal role within the organisation. The main objective of the post holder will be to produce and develop internal financial reporting and ensure it is accurate, timely and meets the needs of users. This will include reporting on variances, balance sheet reconciliations and capital accounting. There will also be a requirement to support with costings for grant applications, tenders for new contracts and for rent setting. In addition, there will be opportunities to support financial accounts processes including purchase ledger, sales ledger, rent accounting and statutory accounts production. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will be CCAB part qualified and have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role in a small complex environment. Financial support for further professional study may be considered. The candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines; have good organisational, analytical and communication skills; and have an appetite for continuous improvement.
