BIM Manager, Sheffield

Our client, an expert within their field now require a BIM Manager to join their team based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a BIM Manager / co-ordiantor to join a forward thinking company with a number of significant projects in the pipeline. As BIM Manager, you will be responsible for driving projects forward to ensure projects are delivered effectively within the deadlines. As BIM Manager, you will be using your knowledge and understanding of construction, architectural and procurement techniques and offering support and assistance to your team. You will be responsible for formulating and implementing CAD/ BIM strategy using Revit software. Within the role of BIM Manager you will have the opportunity to work within a sought after company with opportunities to grow as the business develops. Our client are flexible on location and an element of home working, if and when required, is acceptable but travel on an average of a one day per fortnight to their Sheffield office for team meetings will be involved in the role on an ongoing basis. BIM Manager Position Overview Managing BIM projects and ensure smooth delivery Overseeing and managing a team Formulating and implementing CAD/ BIM strategy through Revit Working closely with IT department to ensure smooth running of BIM software Responsible for maintaining up to date industry standard CAD/ BIM procedures Managing and developing training for staff including BIM handbook BIM Manager Position Requirements A qualified BIM manager Experience delivering BIM Level 2 projects A strong understanding of national and international standards (including ISO19650) Good understanding of open standards (including IFC, COBie and BCF) will be beneficial Proficient in Revit Knowledge and understanding of construction and procurement techniques Experience with project and staff management Strong written and verbal skills BIM Manager Position Remuneration Salary depending upon experience £35K - £44K Holiday 25 days + BH Pension Scheme Private Healthcare Life insurance Critical Illness CoverWe, Bennett and Game Recruitment, a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
