Chartered Building Surveyor, Sheffield

TSA have been engaged by one of their key clients to assist in the growth of their Yorkshire Building Surveying team. They are looking for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to work from either their Leeds or Sheffield office and and to cover the Yorkshire, North East and East Midlands patch.   Our client is a well-respected multi-disciplinary consultancies specialising in Building Surveying, Project Management and Quantity Surveying. They have an excellent reputation and as such work with some of the most recognised blue chip clients in the retail sector as well as being on some of the key public sector frameworks. Their continued growth and secured pipeline means they are already have vision of a number of high profile programmes due to start in the next two quarters. The successful individual will be involved with: Monitoring the deterioration or defects of a property and offering advice on repair work. Negotiating the repair of work or a financial settlement if required. Solid understanding of forms of building contracts such as NEC and JCT Managing projects and/or multidisciplinary teams for various refurb projects To diligently handle all instructions and to maintain comprehensive records for all work undertaken Due Diligence Surveys Dilapidation Liability Assessment Reports Experience in Contract Administration Planned Maintenance Surveys The ideal candidate: To be considered, you must be MRICS with between 1-5 years PQE with consultancy experience. In addition, you must be able to complete the full range of building surveying and be client-facing.
