The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: 6 weeks referenceable experience within a relevant setting Vision for education are urgently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant who speaks fluent Roma-Slovak and English, to work in an SEND school IN Sheffield The role This role will involve you supporting a Secondary age learner in an SEND setting that caters for needs such as SEMH (Social, emotional, mental health issues)  & EBD (emotional, Behavioural difficulties) ADHD & behavioural needs. You will be required to speak both Roma-Slovak and English fluently, in order to support this learner effectively. Requirements To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will: Have a minimum of 20 days experience in one relevant school setting or support role or A reference to cover a 6 week period (this does not have to be full time) experience on a relevant setting as above Previous experience of working with SEND and behaviours that challenge is highly desirable An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or the willingness to apply for one Available full time The ability to work on initiative and proactively The desire to work with young people with special educational needs Able to commute to south Sheffield either using own transport or public transport Eligable to work in the UK Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children and young people.
