Qualified Accountant, Sheffield

Exciting opportunity for a Qualified Senior Accountant or Tax Accountant to join an established Accountancy Practice in Sheffield for a maternity cover contract that may have the potential to become perm in a mixed Tax Advisory role. You will join a dynamic and vibrant Accountancy Practice who work with a range of high-profile and High Net Worth clients. As Senior Accountant you will manage a small team and be responsible for ensuring the quality of the Accounts Teams work. As Tax Accountant you will work with your own portfolio offering and delivering Tax planning and Advice. This Accountancy Practice uses a variety of software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage and some experience of this would be an advantage. The successful Senior Accountant or Tax Accountant will report to the Director and work closely with the portfolio. This role is only suited to Qualified Accountant who has enjoyed a successful career within Accountancy Practice. Senior Accountant Position Overview Manage a team of 10 Accounts Assistant / Semi Seniors Be responsible for final review and signoff Submitting Company Accounts Review and signoff Tax Returns and Corporation Tax Submit Tax returns to companies house Responsible for team development and learning Manage a dedicated and high value portfolio Advise and Manage your portfolio Establish lasting relationships with team and portfolio Senior Accountant Position Requirements MUST: Experience with Sage, Xero and/or Quickbooks Be fully ACCA / ACA or CTA qualified Have demonstrable experience within Accountancy Practice Have demonstrable experience within a Senior Accountant role Ideally: Be located within Sheffield Have experience with a creative client base Have experience with High Net Worth clients Have managed a team of 10 or more previously Senior Accountant Position Remuneration Salary: £40,000 + (open to negotiation) Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Apply online only) Opportunity to work from home Paid Christmas shutdown Contributory pension scheme Potential for this role to become perm Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
