Residential Support Worker - Sheffield

Prospero Teaching are recruiting support workers on behalf of a specialist provision in the Sheffield area. This involves supporting a young person with learning disabilities and mental health issues, who live independently. This young person is school leavers age and above, and they attend college (a special needs provision) which you will also support them within. The support is in place to assist the young people and to help facilitate the student's holistic needs, care, well-being, learning and development. These will then help them to grown their confidence and social independence. This role is very rewarding, as you will be directly helping the students to fulfil their placement with different holistic, craft and active programs each day. This role is on a 2:1 basis, and so you will be working with another member of staff to support this young person. As per client request, the successful candidate must be a male. We are recruiting on a temporary basis, with the possibility of it turning into a permanent position. Pay is £9 per hour. If you are interested, by apply directly and we will give you a call
