Electrical Controls Project Engineer, Sheffield

Role: Electrical Controls Project Engineer Location: Sheffield Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 dependant on experience The Company Award winning manufacturer involved in the design, production and installation of purpose-built machinery. This specialist company continue to go from strength to strength even through these unprecedented times. The success candidate will work within a specialist team and support a wide variety of unique and high-quality projects. In this position you will play a key role for the business working on a variety of highly technical and lucrative projects across multiple customer sites. Working closely with key clients from concept to completion to ensure the highest quality. The Role Oversee subcontractors to ensure that the equipment meets customer's specifications and latest design standards. Writing specifications and commissioning documents Preparing enquiries for quotation Electrical design & schematic drawings Commissioning equipment in the factory and on site Fault finding of PLC systemsExperience/ Skills Ideally educated to degree level within electrical/ electronic engineering. Experience programming PLC's and HMI's (Siemens S7 preferably) Self-motivated and capable of managing projects with minimum supervision Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations.Package Salary ranges from £40,000 to £45,000 Pension Scheme Bonus SchemeThe client we are representing will not consider contractors or those with a similar background.
