The Role: ?Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide targeted support packages for Young People. ? The role involves shift work including Mornings, Afternoons, sleeping in, waking nights, weekends, bank holidays and occasional lone working ? Safeguard Young People through continued Support by monitoring and observation in order to assess identified risks ? Engage effectively with other members of the team ? Have a positive outlook and motivate the team ? Mentor and develop less experienced staff ? Engage with Young People to develop professional relationships based on trust ? Support Young People to reach their full potential through appropriate guidance and encouragement ? Provide Fall Back support for Young People when in crisis ? Support and be involved in Young Peoples weekly activities schedule ? Maintain detailed written records of observations, Support Plans and Risk Assessments. ? Work collaboratively with community recourses and advocate for Young People where necessary ? Attend regular review / planning meetings We require: ?Level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce Diploma ? A Team Leader/Management qualification ? Experience of working with Young People who are motivated and dedicated to have a genuine desire to support others to ?make a difference? ? A commitment to working with Young People who may experience emotional and behavioural difficulties ? Patience and empathy of some of the issues and challenges that Young People may encounter ? Leadership and team working qualities who have the ability to form positive relationships with young people with the willingness to go the extra mile ?
