Maintenance Engineer, Sheffield

Position : Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician

Shifts : Days only, Monday to Thursday **4 day week**

Location : Sheffield

Salary : 38,000

Mechanical bias preferred

Working as part of a maintenance team responsible for maintenance activities on-site including mechanical fitting, fault finding, purchasing, installation, commission, site maintenance.

Working on scheduled PPMs from a CMMS system.

Respond quickly to any reactive production breakdowns.

Ensuring supply of continued supply of critical spares.

Ensuring that the plant is running at an optimum level, minimising downtown, and achieving all internal maintenance demands, in an effective and timely manner, in a way that minimises costs and maximises efficiencies.

Achieve KPIs through the CMMS system

About You

• Apprentice trained in Mechanical engineering or very similar
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics preferred
• Methodical fault finder
• happy to work as part of a team
• Fabrication skills beneficial but not necessary
• Any basic electrical knowledge beneficial
• Assisting with projects eg machinery installation
