Teaching Assistant - Coleham Primary School, Shrewsbury

Grade: 5-6 (Dependent on qualifications/experience)

Salary: £13.47-£14.58 per hour (Annual: £17,830-£19,300)

Hours: Approx 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (some flexibility)

Schedule: Term time only plus 1 day, 44.12 weeks per year

Start Date: September 2026

• Provide support to pupils in the classroom individually or in small groups
• Deliver interventions and support complex needs
• Build warm, nurturing relationships with young children

• Qualified and experienced in Early Years/Primary Education
• Secure understanding of child development and phonics
• Possess SEND skills and a natural ability to communicate with young children
• Strong communication skills and confidence in supporting learning and behaviour
