Position Summary
- Early Years/KS1
- Teaching Assistant
- Approx 30 hours per week
- Term Time only plus 1 day, 44.12 weeks per year
- Permanent
- Monday to Friday (some flexibility re working hours)
- Grade 5-6 dependent on qualifications/experience
- £13.47-£14.58 per hour
- £17,830 - £19,300
- To start September 2026
- Support pupils in the classroom individually or in small groups.
- Deliver interventions.
- Support complex needs.
- Qualified and experienced to work as a Teaching Assistant in Reception/Key Stage 1.
- Highly skilled with relevant experience in Early Years/Primary Education.
- Secure understanding of child development and phonics.
- Possesses SEND skills and is a natural communicator with young children.
- Strong communication skills, confident in supporting learning and behaviour, able to build warm nurturing relationships.
