Project Engineering Manager Skelmersdale 18-Month Fixed Term Contract - ending 1st October 2027 Monday-Friday We are recruiting a Project Engineering Manager to join our Mller Milk&Ingredients business at our Skelmersdale site on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a site-based, hands-on role, leading the successful delivery of engineering and capital projects within a live FMCG manufacturing environment, while providing technical leadership to Project Engineers and wider stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple CAPEX projects from concept to handover. Provide technical leadership and direction to Project Engineers and supporting resources. Manage project budgets, forecasts, risk, scope and delivery timelines. Ensure adherence to Mller project governance, investment and change processes.Act as the senior engineering interface with Operations, HSE, Quality, Procurement, contractors and OEMs. Oversee contractor management, site safety, CDM compliance and commissioning activities. Ensure all project documentation, handover packs and asset data are completed to standard. Support continuous improvement activities and raise engineering delivery standards on site.Skills&Experience Proven experience as a Project Engineering Manager / Senior Project Engineer within FMCG, food, beverage or dairy manufacturing. Strong track record of delivering CAPEX projects in live operational environments. Experience leading or mentoring Project Engineers or technical teams. HNC/HND or Degree in an engineering discipline.Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and AutoCAD. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Full UK driving licence.
