Experienced Nurse Level 6 £33500 Pro rata Term Time …, Slough

This is a term time plus 5 days position (total of 38 weeks per year). The salary is £24,650 pro rata. * It is a permanent position starting at the beginning of September. * The standard working week is 37 hours. Hours of work are 8am ? 4pm Monday ? Thursday and 8am ? 3:30pm on Friday with a 30 minute break on each day. * This is a standalone position that reports to the office manager. * Administer the first aid and care of pupils referred by staff or self-referred until they are able to return to lessons, or are passed into the care of another, accurately recording all visits. * Review and update all health related school policies. * Organise and administer the school health immunisation programmes. * Provide basic First Aid knowledge to staff and inform staff of the correct procedures to follow if faced with more serious medical emergencies. * Ensure First Aid Kits are maintained and restocked. Complete accident reports as required. * Liaise with external bodies regarding immunisations and any other medical matters that the academy may need to take action on. * Provide cover for absent colleagues. * Ensure the medical room is suitably equipped. * Update the medical handbook and keep pupils? medical supplies stocked
