The Role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our dealership finance team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced automotive environment, supporting daily operations and providing accurate financial reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Monitor and control dealership costs and profitability
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet items
• Oversee purchase and sales ledger processes
• Support vehicle stock accounting and funding reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of all transactions (DMS – Keyloop/Autoline)
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Liaise with auditors, suppliers and internal departments
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Accountant (ideally in automotive or retail environment)
• Strong understanding of management accounts and financial controls
• Experience with DMS systems (Keyloop/Autoline preferred)
• Good Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• AAT / ACCA / CIMA (part-qualified or qualified preferred)
