Technical Manager, Llandeilo

Technical Manager Location: Carmarthenshire Salary: £35,000 (Flexible, dependent on experience) Duration: Permanent Benefits: Life Insurance, On-site parking, Wellness programmes, employee discounts, discounted or free food. Our client is a FMCG manufacturer with 3 locations across South Wales. They require a Technical Manager within their Technical Team. The successful candidate will be required to manage the Technical Department on the production floor and laboratory across 2 of the sites. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the technical systems relating to quality, safety and legality. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain the companies Quality Management system to the current BRC and customer standards. * Maintain and Develop the companies HACCP plan. * Develop all internal audit processes. * Carry out risk assessments throughout the business. * Develop a Food Safety & Quality policy that will add value through training and developing members of staff. * Implement BRC standards throughout the company. * Drive a plan and programme for Continuous Technical Improvement throughout the whole company. * Ensure all departments objectives are met and within budget. * Support any NPD projects that are being carried out. * Be hands on with the technical admin, factory audits both internal and external. * Data analysis. Requirements * Previous experience in a similar position is essential (FMCG). * Strong understanding of BRC requirements. * Knowledge and experience of Food Safety, HACCP and QMS requirements. * Top communicator, ability to build relations with Customers & Colleagues.
