Engineering Manager Westbury, Wiltshire Up to £40,000 + 10% Bonus + 33 Days Holiday (Inc Banks) + Life Insurance + Pension Scheme Monday to Friday 37.5 hour week Engineering manager required for an international brand within the food industry. The company are a well backed and a stable manufacturer operating out of Westbury, Wiltshire, with other sites located in Europe. They are offering a stable and long term opportunity for engineering / maintenance team leaders or supervisors looking for a step up, or experienced engineering managers looking for a long term opportunity. The role would suit aspiring engineering managers who are currently working in a team leader or supervisory role, or experienced managers who have managed a small team of multi skilled engineers. Candidates will have a good overall knowledge within maintenance engineering and come from a hands on background. Candidates from FMCG or Food manufacturing will have a considerable advantage, although other industry backgrounds will be considered. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of stock management systems, ideally within implementation. Reporting to the operations director, you will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the engineering department. You will have 3 direct reports, all multi-skilled engineers. Your role is to ensure the smooth running of the department, which will include; hands on maintenance, engineering expenditure, ensuring all stock is accounted for, including implementing an efficient stock management system, people management & other admin based duties.
