Finance Business Partner, NR21

Zertus UK & Ireland is made up of Humdinger Foods, Kinnerton Confectionery and Lir Chocolates. We manufacture a range of products within the snacking and chocolate categories and our goal is to create innovative and distinctive products that delight our customers. We currently have an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join the business, who will lead all aspects of accounting for our operations teams across the group, ensuring all daily, weekly, and monthly information is produced both timely and accurately. The successful candidate will provide full Business Partnering to all operational directors, helping to protect and create value for the Business. This role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday ? Friday. This role can be based at either our Hull, Fakenham or Sherburn sites. The main duties of Finance Business Partner are: * Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all operational financial results to the Head of Finance and Site Leadership team. * Provide analytical insight and operational support to all operational functions. * Continuously challenging performance and recommending corrective actions. * Provide strong and rigorous financial leadership for all operational teams. * Lead the operational finance function and build appropriate levels of competency and efficiency. * Proactively managing risks, opportunities and budgeting accuracy * Ensuring the processes and systems within the finance team enable Zertus UK&I to face today and tomorrow?s challenges. * Assist in running the planning and Budgeting process for Zertus UK&I. * Support and develop the financial integration of the business wide S&OP process. Ideally, the successful Finance Business Partner will have the following qualifications, skills & experience: * Proven track record of success * Experience within a manufacturing organisation (ideally food & drink) and an understanding of the inherent opportunities and challenges therein * Strong leadership ability and proven experience of building competencies in a finance team * Experience in senior financial management roles, working closely with and ability to influence senior executives * Good understanding of IT systems * Good understanding of supply chain * Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, together with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written * Excellent analytical and reasoning skills * Open, collaborative style and the ability to roll sleeves up and get into the detail * Ability to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment Benefits: * Cycle to work scheme * Childcare vouchers * Purchase holiday * Company Pension scheme * Company rewards discount * One day paid leave for charity/community work * Discounts via our company shops * Laptop and mobile phone * Bonus Scheme * Car Allowance Interested in our Finance Business Partner vacancy?
