Technical Manager Food Production, Gwynedd

S2 Recruitment are working with an award-winning food manufacturer, who pride themselves on being at the forefront of innovation and have established a reputation for producing award winning products. They now have an opportunity for a Technical Manager / QA Manager to join their food manufacturing factory, based near Caernarfon, North Wales. As the Technical Manager / QA Manager your responsibilities will include: * Ensure that products meet all quality criteria, i.e. specification, traceability, labelling, visual presentation, weight, and food safety. * Develop, and ensure that quality systems operate efficiently in order to satisfy customers and provide due diligence. * Liaise with customer and supplier technical representatives and take the lead during site audits. * Review and maintain the site HACCP program as team leader. * Track trends on quality performance, customer complaints, defects, non-conformances and take appropriate corrective actions. * Investigate and resolve customer complaints. * Implement all specifications for raw materials and final product. Monitor incoming raw materials for conformance to specification. We are keen to speak to Technical Manager /Quality Assurance Manager who have: Experience in the food industry working with BRC Accreditation * Proven experience in Technical Manager / Quality Assurance / Quality Manager role * Working knowledge of industry standards in Quality Management Systems, BRC, HACCP, HSE, Safety and Legality * Auditing and risk assessment experience To apply for this role as a Technical Manager, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV today.
