Maintenance Technician, Rhymney

Maintenance Technician - Rhymney- Electrically biased- Temp (6 months)- up to 40k p/a DOE A Manufacturing site in Rhymney is looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician to join support operational performance through planned and reactive maintenance of production and plant equipment. As part of a team, you will carry out activities including maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of production equipment found across a textile plant; air compressors, boilers, chiller plant, HVAC, Building Management Systems, SCADA systems for example. Rolling 4 week shift pattern (never nights) this role is critical to the business and they are looking to start ASAP Requirements: HNC / ONC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering preferred. Experienced in maintaining electrical systems. An understanding of clean room or controlled environment controls i.e. HVAC, Humidity and Pressure Cascades etc (Ideally) Broad experience in Electrical Systems, Operations and Maintenance, with proven ability in the Maintenance of site infrastructure systems and services, such as: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems and controls, Fire Protection systems, LV Electrical networks. Fault finding abilities. Have a hands on approach with experience of maintenance of both electrical and mechanical systems, along with process equipment. Knowledge of 17th Edition (BS-7671) IEE Regulations is an advantage.
