The role Are you looking for a Senior Commercial Manager role in South Wales? Do you have railway experience? Here at Amey we are recruiting for an MRICS/MICES qualified QS with a proven and successful track record in senior commercial management with essential experience in rail. What will this role involve? Ensure and manage compliance with the Amey Keolis Infrastructure systems, processes and procedures to deliver post contract management on Contracts. Manage up to 6 direct reports. Work and manage within the strict deadlines required under the Contract(s) and as required. Prepare in detail commercial reports including Cost Value Reconciliations and cash flows. Exercise and manage full cost control of project(s) including providing and monitoring budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the Project Manager/Principal Commercial Manager. Leading on the production of weekly/monthly cost and value reconciliations and forecasts and advising the Project Manager/Principal Commercial Manager thereof. Deliver for the Project Manager/Principal Commercial Manager in ensuring timely issuing of all notices required under the Contract(s). Identify and manage the existence of all variations (changes) to the works in conjunction with other project team members. What are we looking for? Essential Extensive knowledge and experience of an operational railway environment Strong commercial and financial acumen with numerous senior examples. Ability to always time-manage, set priorities and work to strict and extremely testing deadlines Methodical and professional style of working. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products especially Excel and Word. Overall Team player (across discipline).Qualifications Degree qualified (or other suitable qualification). MRICS or MICES equivalent. Demonstrate and evidence a senior, proven and successful track record in senior commercial management with significant experience. IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent, is desirable
