Hard Landscape Construction Contracts manager, Kentisbeare

Are you a reliable and experienced Contracts Manager with a landscaping background, based in the Devon area? We are looking for dynamic people to maintain, organise and motivate various sites under your supervision, ensuring all services are delivered to a very high standard which meets customer expectations. The successful candidate will plan and supervise a wide range of landscape construction projects from start to finish. We are looking for a team-player with leadership capabilities. You will be a key part of a busy and expanding company, Organising and overseeing construction projects and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner including but not limited to the following responsabilities. Organise staff under your control Liasing with the client's discussing their needs and coming up with drawings and a finished CAD design Estimation, budgeting and planning projects from start to finish Allocating work schedules with due consideration for staff skills, training, qualifications, and experience Order all materials required for the works Maintain Health and Safety Standards on site Follow quality procedures and highlight opportunities for improvement Comply with environmental legislation/ regulations Ensure economical and efficient use of company resources throughout all activities The successful Construction Contracts Manager will have: An excellent client facing manner Experience in a similar role for more than 5 years Well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures Knowledge & application of robust construction methods Proficient with construction site paperwork SMSTS and CSCS would be an advantage Full UK Driving licence Self-motivation with the ability to use own initiative Excellent communication skills Good administration skills Able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results In return for this, the Contracts Manager will have an Attractive salary depending on experience and qualification + benefits including company vehicle and Profit share.
