Import Freight Forwarder - Customs, Southampton

Are you confident completing Customs entries to clear cargo into the UK? Is this an area of freight forwarding your particularly enjoy and want advance your career in? The Role: You will be responsible for managing import shipments, managing import documentation and completing Customs entries, ensuring all cargo is cleared in time for delivery and ensuring the correct Duty & VAT is paid. You will be responsible for classifying goods correctly and entering goods to various Customs regimes including Home Use, Warehouse, IPR and CFSP. Essential Criteria: Previous freight experience Familiar with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading Customs clearance experience Good customer services skills Good IT knowledge Desirable Criteria: Transport experience Import Coordinator | Customs Entry Clerk | Import / Export Clerk About the Company: Our client is fats growing, well established privately owned (Director run) company.
