Responsabilities: With cyber security attacks on the increase and the threat landscape changing, it is important that all IT implementations are secure and monitored accordingly. The role of the security analyst is to interpret the data we have available and determine the risks that exist and the action required to mitigate it, support their colleagues and their projects to ensure we minimise the risk of a breach. Be a subject matter expert for security threats and vulnerabilities providing help and support to others. Reporting to the Information Security Manager you will be in charge of the following duties: * Analyse key data in relation to threats and alerts so that actual and potential breaches are identified quickly to minimise damage * Support IT teams across KITS to develop remediation plans to protect against security threats * Measure the success of activity through the reduction of remediation plans and test findings * Ensure all IT solutions are delivered ?Secure by Design? * Execute assurance reviews against Kingfisher Information Security policies and standards to ensure IT systems continue to operate securely * Manage the regular vulnerability scanning of the IT environment, report findings and identify trends * Support detailed investigations where a security incident has occurred or is suspected. Qualifications: * Professional experience in information security * Capability of discussing security issues in a non-technical way * In-depth understanding of security risks and the impact they can have on a business * Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft Azure/MCAS/Security Portal/ATP, Palo Alto/Panorama, zScaler, Qualys * Working knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Windows, Unix, Oracle, SAP, Cloud, Digital, Networks, IoT * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work under pressure and cope with competing demands * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to build strong working relationships This is an exciting opportunity to join our global business.
