Would you like to support a small class of pupils with speech & Language issues until July as a Teaching Assistant? * Psychology/Speech & Language/Linguistics Graduate Required * Primary Teaching Assistant position available as a 1 Year Fixed Term * 3 Positions in West London - Speech and Language Teaching Assistant Post * SEN Teaching Assistant for Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist * Leading Primary schools - Teaching Assistant * Immediate Interview - Teaching Assistant * £90-100 per day depending on experience 3 Primary Schools in London, with superb inclusion, are looking to appoint an aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to support their SEN pupils. To be successful in your application you must be a passionate and inspiring graduate who has previous experience working with SEN children (preferably with Speech and Language) either in a volunteer or paid capacity. The schools would like a Teaching Assistant for this post who has a happy, approachable demeanour that students will take to and an ability to differentiate your approach to pupils with varying needs. As a Teaching Assistant it is essential that you have skills to provide a caring, nurturing environment where everyone feels safe and secure. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be able to assess the pupils under your supervision and record your findings for the school to consider. This SEN focussed Teaching Assistant position you will be working with Early Years, Year 3 or Year 5 with classes of around 18 pupils. The classes have pupils with significant special needs, mostly cognitive developmental disorders which places them at levels below their peers. They need support with speech and language as well as other areas of the curriculum. With this school you will be progressing the academic and social achievements of all the SEN pupils in this class. Working with students, either 1:1 or in groups, it will be up to you to ensure all pupils are progressing well and focussed on their lessons
