Production Operative, Thirsk

NE Recruitment are delighted to announce we are working with our client based in Thirsk and currently looking for production operatives to join their friendly and expanding team. Requirements: * Consistently adheres to information, instruction and training re. The correct use of tools, equipment and work instructions. * Follows emergency procedures. * Consistently and correctly uses, maintains and stores personal protective workwear and equipment. * Reports faulty or defective plant/equipment or any unsafe acts/behaviours to the Production Supervisor. * Produces product to the correct quality, at the specified rate (e.g. units p/hr, p/shift etc.) * Ensure all production documentation (e.g. Worksheets) is processed with 100% accuracy. * Reports any unsafe plant, equipment, activities to Line Supervisor. * Update production output & any key plant/equipment issues. * Operates plant and equipment as instructed to produce-product to the correct quality. Adhering to quality procedures and Work Instructions. * Reports any plant and/or equipment deficiencies that may affect quality to the Production Supervisor. Candidates: * NVQ in Performing Manufacturing duties. * Minimum 5 years relevant practical production experience. * Have good knowledge of the CBB site and business. * Be numerate and literate * Strong HSE and personal standards. * Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
