Stronger You Operations manager, Southampton SO15

Stronger You is a mental health CIC in Southampton devoted to supporting anyone who is waiting for mental health support or who has been rejected from such support. We wish to offer support via an online portal with blogs, videos, and professional support. We also wish to run multiple workshops in Southampton that provide tangible skills people can use in their everyday lives. Some of the workshops planned are around forming friendships and changing negative habits.

Stronger You is looking for someone to support and work with the CEO to develop the CIC into a force that can support as many people as possible.

As the CIC is still relatively new and the director needs support, the role will be voluntary, The role must also be able to meet the CEO in Southampton on a regular basis.

Role and Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day operations of the CIC.

Booking venues, providing volunteer and staff support, and managing the website.

Support in the creation and running of new ideas for Stronger You’s workshops.

Work with the CEO to create new workshops, online content, and other initiatives to grow the Stronger You.

Support social media and marketing for the CIC.

To support the running of the social media and create posts that can be promoted via Blue Sky, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more

To support the creation of videos and other content that can be shared regularly to promote and grow Stronger You

Running and assisting group workshops where needed.

All workshops should be led by a professional with the required qualifications; however, there will be times when staff need to keep the groups running, for example, if someone is ill.

Help create or source blogs and videos for the Stronger you website that support other mental health.

Job Types: Part-time, Volunteer

Pay: Up to £10.00 per year
