The Religious Tract Society, London. 1904. First edition. Hardback. Frontis. + illustration to title page + illustrated throughout in b/w. Decorated turquoise cloth boards, gilt and black. Boards are very bright, but slightly soiled and a little worn at extremities. Page edges foxed. Prize bookplate and Sunday school stamp to front pastedown, endpapers lightly browned and some very occasional light foxing spots to o/w clean and sound contents. Small tear to top corner of pages 185/186, and to advert pages at rear, not affecting text. Overall a lovely and charming copy.
