Junior Facilities Technician

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Facilities Technician to work at a leading engineering company based in Southampton.

Introduction

The primary duties for this role will be to support the Facilities Manager with the day to day maintenance across the production areas and buildings. This is a busy and varied role, training for the right candidatewill be given.

Responsibilities

• Support planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities
• Assist with routine checks on building systems, including fire escapes, emergency lighting, and basic safety inspections
• Help maintainingtools, equipment, and spare parts, and notify when items need replenishment.
• Maintainmaintenance records
• Calibration of equipment and tooling

The Ideal Skills & Experience

• Practical, hands-on aptitude for mechanicaltasks.
• Previous experience in a hands on role in out outside of work i.e. fitting, assembly, kitchen fitting, car mechanics
• Any electrical knowledge would be an advantage
• Eager to learn / develop skills

Salary:

28K - 33K

Hours:

Day Shift 8.00-4.30 Monday to Friday
