We are currently looking for Band 5 Radiology Staff Nurse to join an expanding nursing team in the Interventional Radiology Department based in Essex working on a full rota. This dynamic department provides a wide range of ultrasound, x-ray and CT guided diagnostic and interventional treatments . The unique and varied nature of the speciality means that there is always something new and interesting to learn. Due to the diversity of patients who attend for treatment, the radiology nurse has the ability to care for a wide range of patients of all ages, from emergencies, medical, surgical, vascular, oncology, renal and urological specialities. The radiology nurses are vital team members, fulfilling the scrub, circulating and recovery nurse roles, they have the ability to transfer these skills to the theatre environment when required, as well as organising the patients? pre and post-procedure care.
