Description
We are recruiting an Administrative Assistant at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours:37 hours (7.24 Monday - Friday)
Contract Type:Full Time, Term time only, Fixed term until February 2028
Location:Ty Penallta / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.
Team:Transformation Services

This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.

We pay an attractive salary of£27,254 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

In this role you will deliver timely and accurate administrative support across Learning, Education and Inclusion (LEI) Administration and, where required, School Admissions.

You will play a key role in underpinning service delivery and customer service standards by supporting administrative systems, processes, and functions, while remaining adaptable to changing service demands.

The post holder will assist in the development and implementation of administrative systems and processes and be the first point of contact for LEI Administration.

For the role, we ask that you have:
  • Relevant Level 2 qualification/s on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example GSCEs Grade A*-C, NVQ2 in Administration.
  • Evidence of understanding / experience of working with Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Evidence of general administrative experience.
