Role Responsibillities * Set high standards of professional practice in line with the NMC guidelines * Accept responsibility in a professional manner and act in a professional way according to professional accountability. * Must be forward thinking, anticipating events happening at all times as much as possible. * Be fully aware of Policies and Procedures and to adhere to them at all times. * Ensure that all responsibilities have been carried out prior to ending a shift of work and that issues have been clearly logged on the computer and relevant documentation. * The nurse must know how to access up to date information regarding the role. * Required to take responsibility to secure, sustain and promote the reputation of the Home for the benefit of the Residents.
