Sir William Perkins’s School is seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Drama to join a forward-thinking department dedicated to excellence in the performing arts. In this role, the successful candidate will play a pivotal part in delivering a well‑rounded, high‑quality experience of the subject, successfully balancing rigorous academic study with practical performance. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity and foster a deep appreciation for the performing arts and live theatre, ensuring that students of all abilities are motivated to explore their creative potential and achieve their very best.
Drama is highly valued within the SWPS community, encouraging widespread student participation and a strong reputation for excellence. Our vibrant department delivers a rich programme of co‑curricular opportunities, including large‑scale school productions, competitive events, and performance showcases, alongside an extensive professional theatre programme of live visits and specialised workshops. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that contribute directly to the continued success and high profile of the department across the school and wider community.
