Pulse is recruiting a Staff Nurse Mental health (RMN) for the hospital. It provides treatment and care incorporating the views of the individual, significant others (family, friends) and the MDT. Roles and responsibilities: · To provide leadership to the care and nursing functions of the hospital. · Encourage a model of self-care and patient rehabilitation. · Ensuring a high standard in the application of clinical nursing/care procedures and treatments. · Administering prescribed medications in accordance with local and NMC guidelines. · Building trust and developing relationships to ensure patients' involvement in all aspects of their treatment. · Ensuring a whole care treatment package is applied to each patient, including their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Skills and experience: · NMC registered RMN (Essential). · Professional Mental Health Nursing qualification (Essential). · Proven intervention skills for a wide range of behavioural and emotional problems (Essential). · Able to show and implement, with due guidance, innovative ideas (Essential). · Experience of/willingness to participate in group activities, therapeutic, educative and social (Desirable). · Good report writing skills (Desirable).
