Design Manager - Hertfordshire Blayze Group are partnered with a leading construction company who are looking for a Design Manager to join the team in their Hertfordshire office. Main responsibilities will include: Coordinating the design process and the collation of design information Coordinating the consultant and subcontractor designs, chairing design meetings and workshops and reporting progress to line managers as required. Providing and detailed design information for the construction and commercial teams, enabling projects to be completed within programme, budget and specification requirements. Checking to ensure that the design complies with the Employer's Requirements and all requisite bodies. Managing the process of statutory and technical approvals from local authorities, statutory providers and warranty providers. Negotiating fees and appointing all Design Consultants, scheduling the information they are to provide and programme within which their design is to be achieved.The successful candidate will have previous experience working with a developer and be able to show proven examples of having delivered large complex residential schemes.
