If you have vast experience with Environmental Health, providing knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, processes, systems, procedures and standards regarding environmental health this is the right role for you This busy local authority is looking for an individual who is highly experienced and can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have a background in all areas of environmental health but applicants who specialise in a specific area will also be considered As a successful Environmental Health Officer, you will undertake the following duties: Undertaking detailed inspections / investigations to determine whether hazards are effectively controlled, and legislation is complied with Taking appropriate enforcement action, including preparing comprehensive letters, reports, schedules and legal notices in accordance with relevant enforcement policies and procedures. To corporately co-ordinate, audit and monitor the activities and responsibilities of all departments under Health and Safety legislation and to maintain the health and safety risk register.
