Senior Estimator, Hertfordshire

Fawkes and Reece are currently assisting an ambitious and growing medium sized main contractor with their search for an experienced Senior Estimator to join their business based in Hertfordshire. Our client are searching for an individual who has experience tendering hotels, care homes and residential projects. This is a great opportunity to join a business who are extremely busy in the current market and are looking to grow their existing pipeline. The business is undergoing huge growth and expansion which will benefit the successful candidate huge amounts. You will be required to deal with a wide range of cost planning issues as well as assist with the delivery of competitive tenders. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, driven and highly motivated with a passion for Estimating. A stable employment history with between 5 and 10 years' experience working with main contractors is essential. Reporting into the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing tenders and be able to manage bids from initial enquiry all the way through to submission to the client. You will be responsible for maintaining good relationships with prospective clients and professionals to promote further tender invitations and provide clearly identified price build-ups to the Contract team.
