Automation Team Lead / Manager | Permanent | Hertfordshire | £Attractive A fantastic and rare opportunity has arisen for a Automation Team Lead / Manager to join a leading Biopharmaceutical client located in Hertfordshire on a full time permanent basis. The Automation Team Lead/Manager will be expected to support the business to increase the skills base of the already high performing team across all levels. The Automation Team Lead/Manager who will report directly to the Engineering Director will be part of the senior level team that develops ways of working to deliver exceptional, effective and efficient service to both internally and external customers alike. The Automation Team Lead/Manager will direct the technical activities to achieve the business objectives through to the manufacturing floor as required. Leading, mentoring and developing the team and extended team to develop skills and knowledge at ALL levels for now and the near term. Provide technical leadership for automation to ensure a compliant and reliable supply of product and on time project execution. To be deemed suitable for this opportunity the successful candidate will be educated to degree or equivalent level in an Engineering or Computer Science related discipline. Expert knowledge of GAMP, GMP, 21CFR Annex 11 and other similar regulations would be expected. Previous experience with control and automation systems specification, programming and optimization (PLC, SCADA, Loop controllers, Siemens S7, PCS7 etc. would also be a requirement. Proven and demonstrable capability of direct people management as well as being able to build effective internal and external relationships and be able to influence individuals across a variety of functions without a direct reporting relationship.
