Design Engineer (Rail) North London, AL9

My client, a succesful Railway Subcontractor based in North London are seeking a Design Engineer to work on a number of sites across North London. (Candidate must be able to drive) To be suitable for the position you must have; - Strong working design background within a rail environment - Familiar with; CCTV, PA/VA, CIS & SCADA systems - The ability to be flexible to meet project requirements & be flexible on travel where required Candidates should be : Degree Qualified Experienced in Microsoft Office (Programme Spreadsheets, Set up links) Roles and responsibilities: ? Leading and assisting with the preparation of documentation relating to projects ? Engaging with and developing good working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including Network Rail / local authorities / Tier 1 contractor's clients and other disciplines ? Focusing on the design elements of the contract, working closely with the design manager and the designers from clients ? Help to develop the production of drawings, reports and specifications ? Check and approval of technical work by the design team ? Help to develop the production of drawings, reports and specifications ? Input to and preparation of bids and proposals
