Registered General Nurse, St Albans

We are currently recruiting for Registered Nurses to work in a luxury care home in the St Albans area. Must be flexible and be able to work day and night shifts on a set rota. As a Registered Nurse you will be required to deliver the highest level of care to your residents, promoting independance and dignity at all times. Responsibilites & duties * Ensuring the highest level of care is maibtained at all times. * Supporting/ assisting and assessing residents when required with washing, dressing and other aspects of daily living * Accurately recording observations in accordance with a persons conditions and needs * Administering medication * Carrying out risk assessments * Identifying and managing a residents needs * Monitoring care delivery * Providing quality end of life care * Being able to carry out all core nursing skills especially- Catheterisation, IV medication, syringe drivers, venepuncture and wound care. * Assisting residents in aspects of their care needs,(physical, emotional and spiritual.Providing support when needed whilst ensuring residents maintain their comfort and dignity * Paying particular attention to assisting residents who have limited mobility or physical disabilites making best use of aids provided * Providing quality end of life care- assisting the delivery of care of residents who are dying or have a progressive illness * Observing care planning and completing daily records as instructed in line with the companies policies and procedures * Answering Nurse on call system and giving assistance as required Benefits * Funding for training opportunites/ Career development * Pension * Lunch provided * Excellent working conditions * Excellent pay
