Electronic Engineer, Stirling

This is an exciting opportunity with an established organisation specialising in supplying products to clients world wide. They are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their team based near Stirling. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, responsibilities will include: Design and development of new product electronics, including simulation, design for manufacture, design for test, reliability analysis and single fault analysis. Supporting existing product range through upgrades resulting from regulatory changes or customer requests. Supporting the Operations department, including leading electronics debug activities from schematic analysis and Test with support from engineering technicians. Design and development of verification and production test equipment. Carrying out verification and validation activities to agreed schedules, quality and cost. Working with and managing suppliers, subcontractors and other engineering disciplines. As part of a project team, introduce new products to subcontractor manufacturing sites (Transfer to manufacture). Generation of manufacturing documentation, including product assembly and test procedures, in compliance with relevant standards. Ongoing technical support for manufacturing where required. Qualifications: Minimum of 3yrs previous experience of working in an analogue electronics design role, ideally within a highly regulated industry sector such as aerospace, medical or defence. Ideally degree qualified in an Electronics Engineering related subject. Proven track record in an engineering product environment, with an understanding of Engineering Principles and Design Practices
