Senior Optical Engineer - Permanent Stirling We are working with our UK based key account who have a brand new vacancy for a Senior Optical Engineer to work from their office based in the Stirling area on a Full Time, Permanent basis. Our client are an SME within the Medical Device sector. Senior Optical Engineer Responsibilities: You do not need to have Med Dev experience, though you will be expected to have experience of working within a regulated industry. Happy to have someone come from an academic background. You will be part of the development team in the R&D department, where proof of concept is done and R&D design is ready to go to manufacturing. You will be responsible for the modelling and simulation of optical systems and associated critical to quality design consideration inputs, ouputs, design variables and tolerances. You will work on the creation of detailed design specifications based on simulation, prototype testing, characterisation and product requirements. Senior Optical Engineer Requirements: Skilled at programming data analysis. Experience working in fluorescence detection system.
