Electric Vehicle Charging & Electrician Training Course, Hazel Grove

Train to be a qualified domestic Electrician and Electric Vehicle Charging Point Installer in only 5 weeks. Course Details This is an intensive training course at our specialist centre here in Hazel Grove, Stockport (10 miles south of Manchester), where you will learn the theory and gain the practical knowledge to complete your qualifications in the following: * LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) * LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations * LCL Awards Level 3 Award in the Installation of Electric Vehicle charging equipment in Domestic locations. * Domestic Electrical Installer (Initial Verification) Upon completion of this course, you will be a qualified domestic electrician and be able to carry out electrical installation work in domestic properties and apply to join a Competent Person Scheme (i.e. NICEIC, NAPIT etc). You will also be qualified to apply to join OLEV as a Competent EV Installer. Course Cost This course will cost £2,995 + VAT (£3,594 inclusive) Payment will have to be received in full, one week prior to the course start dates. Pre-course Assessment Day Due to the technical nature and intensive training involved with this course, applicants will need to meet a minimum standard prior to being offered a place. This minimum standard will be assessed via an open day, (2 hours) to be held here at ECTA Training, which will include both written and practical assessments, a tour of the centre and a Q&A sesion. Employment Opportunities ECTA are working in partnership with myenergi who are a leading UK EV Manufacturer and you will receive training on their latest Version 2 Systems. ECTA will be working with electrical employers and Electric Vehicle Charging Installation companies, so that either a job interview or straight into employment or straight to self-employment within Electrical Installations or Electric Vehicle Charging Point Installation will be offered, subject to your location and personal circumstances and passing the examinations.
