Solicitor - Consumer Credit/COLP, 'Stockport'

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Senior Solicitor to join my clients fast growing firm, the ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years PQE. Past experience working within the consumer credit industry is essential and ideally within claims management or litigation. The successful solicitor must have an understanding and experience of the Plevin PPI ruling and the opportunity this has created for the consumer credit area of law along with section 75 of the consumer credit act and also claims for irresponsible lending for both guarantor and HCSTC unsecured lenders. My client provides a service specialising in consumer credit and HR services, where they have plans to expand and require an experienced solicitor to take on the function of COLP to allow for new business ventures. You will have good interpersonal skills, be able to prioritise your own workload and work to tight deadlines. You will have good communication and presentation skills, excellent customer care skills and good analytical and problem-solving skills. You must be flexible, enthusiastic and committed. You will be skilled at drafting legal documentation, providing concise and clear advice, carrying out legal research and working on projects to a high standard. You will need to be well-organised and adaptable, as you may from time to time be asked to take on challenges not currently within your field of expertise. Benefits: ?
