Area Manager (Learning Disabilities), Stockton-on-Tees

I am currently working with a fantastic social care provider to help them recruit for an Area Manager to cover their portfolio of services across the Stockton, Durham and Northallerton region. The services support adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and other associated needs. The role will involve management of 4 residential sites, each with their own Registered Manager. This area has development plans underway so it will see an increase in the number of services, and this person may have a role to play in assisting with setting up future locations alongside the Operations Director and senior management team. The services are all rated as ?Good? with CQC with stable management. This company has a reputation for delivering high quality standards of care across their residential and supported living services. They are very person centred and outcomes focused who look for these qualities in their employees.   Salary: £40,000 per annum plus a company car The ideal candidate will have: Sound experience of managing multiple sites supporting vulnerable people with learning disabilities and complex needs Residential experience preferred, due to auditing compliance in residential settings and supervising registered managers so will need a current sound working understanding of CQC registration and regulations. An effective communicator and someone who can build and maintain relationships easily Self-motivated and able to work effectively with a team of managers, their peers and senior management.
