Early Years Teaching Assistant, Stockton-on-Tees

Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Position: Full-Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: 93 -130 per day (depending on shifted hours)

Empowering Learning is working in partnership with an established and welcoming nursery in Stockton-on-Tees to recruit 2 passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistants for permanent positions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Early Years setting where you can make a real impact during the most important stage of a child's development.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality early years education
• Help plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities
• Provide targeted support for children, including those with additional needs
• Observe and track children's development in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
• Experience working within a nursery or Reception setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive practices
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
