You'll lead the delivery of critical civil design packages, influence buildable, innovative solutions, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with multidisciplinary teams to turn ambitious ideas into tangible outcomes. Join a team where technical excellence meets real-world delivery. We're growing to support major AMP cycles and long-term frameworks, and we're looking for experienced engineers to step into high-profile Design&Build (D&B) programmes. In this role, you will:

* Own technical delivery of civil design solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure
* Lead detailed design in collaborative, contractor-led environments, embedding constructability from day one
* Influence project outcomes by integrating safety, sequencing, access, and commissioning into your designs
* Work directly with construction and commercial teams to solve challenges in real time on live projects
* Elevate standards through design assurance, quality reviews, and technical leadership
* Mentor developing engineers and play a key role in building the next generation of talent

Essential:
* Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
* Experience delivering detailed design for water/wastewater infrastructure, ideally in D&B environments
* Strong understanding of UK design standards, specifications and regulatory frameworks
* Confidence to work with autonomy, sound judgement and accountability
* Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across design and construction teams
* Working toward or holding Chartered status (ICE or equivalent)

Desirable:
* Experience supporting live construction projects
* Knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
* Track record of mentoring or guiding junior engineers
* Familiarity with digital engineering tools and BIM environments
