Description
Our Client, a leading and rapidly growing BMS business are looking to recruit an experienced BMS Service/Sales Manager to join the business on a permanent basis at their site Manchester. This role has become available due to a recent internal promotion due to continued business growth. This position provides a great opportunity for an extremely driven candidate to join a well known business with strong growth plans. The successful candidate will be required to manage the day to day duties of the service department while also overseeing strategic development by identifying new revenue streams and opportunities to increase margin across service/maintenance contracts and future projects. Interested candidates must have a strong working knowledge of TREND systems - knowledge of other systems including Cylon and Tridium would be advantageous - candidates without Trend XP will not be considered. To be considered for this role candidates must have strong commercial awareness including experience managing their own P&L, previous experience in management of a service team. Candidates with experience in sales/ business development would be at a distinct advantage. Package for the role is negotiable dependant on experience and what you can bring to the role ( you will not be disappointed) Includes company vehicle, Laptop/ Phone, 25 Days Annual Leave + Stats Hours - Mon - Thurs 8AM-5PM / Fri 8AM - 3:45PM Role Description * The day to day management of the service division consisting of field based engineers of various disciplines and their respective office based support staff. * Full P&L responsibility of the Service & Commissioning department including the forecasting & management of annual budgets and their monthly review. * Proactively help the department secure and deliver the annual sales targets across all its revenue streams - Maintenance, Service Breakdown, and Service Projects & Commissioning. * To play a key role in developing & growing the service department and other associated areas of the business. Qualifications / Experience * Demonstrable experience in managing a team of at least 10 engineers to deliver a departmental budget. * Strong working knowledge of Building Management Systems and their operation. * The candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Trend BMS systems.
