Senior Microbial Fermentation Scientist, Keele

Are you able to lead a team in a GMP, cleanroom environment? Do you have knowledge of microbial fermentation? We are working with an organisation who offer contract manufacturing and development services to the pharmaceutical industry. They are looking for a Senior Scientist with a GMP background to join the Product Delivery Team to lead operational processes such as fermentation and cell banking. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who looking to develop in a man-management capacity. To be considered for this opportunity you must have substantial clean room experience and be capable of demonstrating both aseptic technique and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices. The 'ideal? candidate will have a PhD in Biochemistry (or related discipline) with excellent communication skills and a good work ethic. Typically, your hours of work will fall between 8am and 6pm, although there may be a need for less sociable shifts on occasion to ensure project delivery within predetermined timescales.
