Mellis Church of England Primary Schoolis a vibrant rural primary school and we are looking for a nurturing, motivated and creativeTeaching Assistantto join our team for EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) / KS1 (Key Stage 1).
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's early learning experiences while developing your own skills in a supportive environment.
You'll work closely with the class teacher to support and inspire our youngest learners, to help them grow in confidence. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, reliable, and ready to make an instant impact.

You will have:
- A positive attitude, caring nature and great communication skills
- Familiarity of working with primary school age children.
- Previous experience of EYFS Child Centred classroom support and interventions and/or within a preschool setting would be a distinct advantage.
- High expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
- Flexibility, proactivity and the ability to support across EYFS and KS1.
- The ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
- The confidence to work as a team and contribute to the school's development.
- Relevant experience, qualifications and good levels of literacy and numeracy (GCSE grade C and above or equivalent).
- And a good sense of humour!
