Law Lane Solicitors is a forward-thinking, Lexcel-accredited law firm based in London. We provide expert legal services across a wide range of practice areas, including immigration, conveyancing, litigation, and private client work.

We are now seeking a Digital Marketing & IT Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a creative, technically minded professional who can drive our digital presence, manage online campaigns, and support day-to-day IT operations across the firm.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing and optimising the firm’s digital marketing channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, website SEO, etc.), supporting business growth through lead generation, and maintaining the firm’s IT infrastructure and digital tools.

The role combines marketing creativity with technical IT and analytical ability — ideal for someone with experience or passion for both areas.

Key Responsibilitie:
Digital Marketing

• Plan, create, and manage Google Ads (PPC) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads campaigns.
• Conduct keyword research, manage ad budgets, and track conversions to optimise ROI.
• Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search ranking on Google.
• Create and manage engaging website content, blog posts, and landing pages (optimised for SEO).
• Manage the firm’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter).
• Analyse digital performance metrics using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Meta Insights.
• Collaborate with departments to promote legal services and publish relevant updates and news.
• Support digital branding, e-newsletters, client engagement campaigns, and online reputation management (Google Reviews, directories).

IT Support & Systems

• Provide day-to-day technical support for staff (hardware/software/network issues).
• Assist with setting up new devices, emails, and accounts for staff using Microsoft 365 and related tools.
• Manage website maintenance, updates, and integrations with third-party platforms.
• Support LEAP case management system and troubleshoot user issues.
• Liaise with external IT service providers when needed.
• Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed (passwords, backups, updates).
• Maintain digital asset organisation and file security across cloud and local systems.

Key Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Digital Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in digital marketing and/or IT support (law firm experience desirable).
• Proven experience managing Google Ads (PPC) and Meta Ads Manager campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword tools (e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Experience in website CMS platforms (WordPress or similar).
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and Google Tag Manager is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, LEAP, and general IT troubleshooting.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
• Proactive, organised, and a good problem solver with strong initiative.

Desirable

• Graphic design or video editing experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience in email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
• Understanding of legal sector marketing and compliance (SRA marketing guidelines).
• Experience managing Google Business Profile (GBP) and local SEO.
